Management Team

The Markt executive team is an experienced group of successful entrepreneurs & professional managers. From owning & operating 15 Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen restaurants, to opening 25 Papa  John's Pizza locations across Alberta to starting their own successful brands (Golomein & Legend Rings) and working in senior leadership roles for some of the most prestigious food brands in the world (Starbucks & Aramark) this group knows what it takes to succeed in the food business.

Eddie brings a wealth of knowledge from the franchised restaurant/QSR world with 12 years of experience working with multinational franchises such as Papa John’s Pizza and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. He has successfully scaled Papa John’s Pizza to 25 units across Northern Alberta and is actively growing the Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen brand to more than 24 locations (currently 15). An entrepreneur at heart, Eddie leads by being a servant leader and by taking care of his people this has allowed the successful growth of his companies.

Kyle is an experienced senior leader across multiple industries. He has founded several successful businesses, including Synergy Franchising which owns and operates 15 Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen restaurants and employs over 600 people. In addition to founding Legend Rings, the fastest-growing Championship Ring provider in the world. Kyle has a passion for business, community, and people.

Troy has over 20 years of multi-unit leadership experience in specialty retail and the restaurant sector. He has had the pleasure of leading diverse teams from Rogers Communications, Starbucks and the University of Alberta to his current role as Vice President of Synergy Franchising where he continues to grow an award-winning team of people first leaders and developing the future of the Popeyes Brand within Canada.

 

Alex is a restaurant owner and active military reservist with the Canadian Armed Forces. In addition, he graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering. As an infantry Sargent within the Loyal Edmonton Regiment, he has a deep understanding of team management and goal-oriented tasks. As a small business owner of a local family-owned restaurant (Golomein), he has developed a team that understands the importance of customer service and what it takes to build a successful brand.
